I am so excited to have you in my class this year.
I look forward to seeing you at Open House on Thursday, August 24th from 4 p.m.- 6 p.m. This is a drop-in session in which you can tour the classroom and meet me. I will be here to answer any questions you might have.

We will be reading many different genres of text and utilizing comprehension strategies. We will be writing narratives, informative paragraphs, and opinion pieces.
We will be learning addition and subtraction strategies for math facts from 0-20. We will also learn about place value, geometry, graphs and data.
In social studies, we will learn about culture, holidays, and government. In science, we will learn and experiment with motion, solids and liquids, and plants.
