History of DPS

Donegal Primary School in Mount Joy is part of the Donegal School District and is located in West Donegal Township in the western part of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The building was opened in January 2004 under the name Donegal Springs Elementary School. Donegal Springs brought together students, faculty, and staff from Seiler and Grandview: two smaller elementary schools which were also located in Mount Joy. In the summer of 2012, Donegal Springs was renamed Donegal Primary School. This building includes all of the district's kindergarten, first, and second grade students. Approximately 700 students attend DPS (Donegal Primary School) and begin the foundational years of their education.
