MATH
In Math we use the i-Ready Classroom Math program. We will be working on the following skills: *addition and subtraction to 1,000; single and double digit *place value-numbers to 1,000 *telling time-1/2 hour, 1/4 hour, 5 minute intervals *counting money to $1.00 *measurement-metric and standard units *fractions-1/2, 1/3, 1/4 ***One of our main focuses in math is basic fact fluency. We will be practicing basic addition and subtraction facts daily.
Language Arts
In Language Arts we will be working on phonics, comprehension, fluency, and writing. The phonics program is Fundations. We will be using the stories from Houghton-Mifflin Journeys as a reference for comprehension and fluency. The Write Steps program will be used as a resource for writing.
