Language Arts
In Language Arts we will be working on phonics, comprehension, fluency, and writing. Our Phonics program is Fundations. We will be using the stories from Houghton Mifflin Journeys as a resource for comprehension and fluency. The Write Steps program will be used as a resource for writing.

Math
In Math we will be using the Houghton Mifflin GO Math program. We will be working on the following skills: *addition/subtraction to 1000 single and double digit *place value ~numbers to 1000 *telling time ~ 1/2 hour, hour, 1/4 hour, 5 minute intervals *counting money to $1.00 *measurement ~ metric and standard units *fractions ~ 1/2, 1/3, 1/4 ****One of our main focuses in math is basic fact fluency. We will be practicing basic addition and subtraction math facts daily.
